Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how Hocam Academy reviews refund and payment assistance requests for purchases made on the platform. It should be read together with the Terms and Conditions.
Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. Overview
Paid access on Hocam Academy is sold as digital content (courses or chapters). Free items may be unlocked without payment. This policy describes when we may review a request for a refund, correction, or access adjustment, and when purchases are generally final.
Approved refunds, where granted, are processed by the Hocam Academy team. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee a refund. Every request is reviewed individually, and refund decisions are made at Hocam Academy's reasonable discretion unless otherwise required by applicable law.
2. Digital Content and Access
Once a purchase is marked paid and learning access is granted, the purchase is generally final. Watching lessons, downloading attached lesson resources, or otherwise using purchased access typically means the digital service has been delivered.
3. Situations We May Review
We may consider a goodwill refund, correction, or access adjustment in limited cases, such as an accidental duplicate payment for the same purchase, a clear platform error that unlocked the wrong purchase, or a verified technical failure that permanently prevents access to content you already paid for after payment was confirmed.
We may also investigate unauthorized account activity or fraudulent payment confirmations. Outcomes depend on the facts, banking processes, and whether funds were actually received and can be returned.
If a payment confirmation is rejected, the platform does not grant course access for that confirmation. Rejection is not by itself a repayment from Hocam Academy to your bank; you may need to resolve mistaken bank transfers with your bank if you sent funds incorrectly.
4. Situations That Are Usually Not Refundable
The following situations are generally not eligible for a refund: change of mind after access is granted; dislike of teaching style; dissatisfaction after substantial use of the content; failure to complete a course; incomplete personal study; purchasing the wrong course or chapter by mistake after payment is confirmed; requesting a refund solely because you finished the content quickly; or issues caused by your own device, software, or internet connection (unless caused by the platform).
We also do not promise refunds for instructor payout disputes; those are handled under instructor payout operations.
5. Bank Transfers
Where bank transfer is offered at checkout, you must use the official bank details displayed in checkout. After payment, submit an accurate transfer reference and, if available, a genuine receipt. False or manipulated receipts may lead to rejection and account action.
Verification times may vary depending on banking processes, administrator availability, weekends, holidays, and payment volume. Submitting a confirmation does not guarantee approval or a specific review deadline.
6. How to Request Help
Email support@hocamacademy.com with your account email, purchase or payment reference, approximate payment date and amount, and a clear description of the issue (for example accidental duplicate payment, no access after confirmation, suspected unauthorized purchase, or technical failure).
We may ask for additional proof. After review, we will explain whether we can adjust access, investigate with payment records, or decline the request under this policy. A request alone does not create an entitlement to a refund.
7. Time Limits
Contact us as soon as you notice a problem. We encourage you to raise requests about duplicate or erroneous payments promptly, preferably within 14 days of the payment or confirmation decision. This is not a strict deadline, but older requests may be harder to verify or reverse through banking channels.
8. Contact
For refund and payment assistance, contact support@hocamacademy.com.
9. Changes to This Refund Policy
Hocam Academy may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when published on this page. The Last updated date at the top will change when we publish revisions.
